Detailed description: This document aims to provide a basic IP network design principle, show the use environment, functions and equipment selection of various network devices, so that office personnel can have a basic guiding ideology when designing and avoid network design. There is a situation that the equipment selection scheme made does not meet the actual use needs.
This article focuses on IP-based network design, as IP has effectively become the standard desktop protocol. The use of advanced IP network support has become increasingly diverse in nature. IP has become a transport mechanism for real-time applications such as voice, video and multimedia, along with traditional data usage. This article discusses some basic principles that should be followed when designing a network, as well as specific local area network and wide area network technologies for network design.
